Cancelled
28 GoodGymers made their way 2.8km to help their local community in Islington.
- Monday, 27th of March 2017
- Led by Simon Loughran
Welcome to first timers James, Miranda, Anja and Annatt tonight.
What should you do when a task is cancelled? That was our debate this evening.
A few suggestions:
- Break in and do it anyway
- Seed bombing (go and chuck a load of wild flower seeds in areas that you think need it)
- Guerilla knitting (knit stuff and hang it round trees and lamposts to make them look nicer)
- Do what we did anyway...
What did we do? We went over to Emirates for an evening of fitness fun. We got involved with "progressive letter running", "letter fartlek", "nine-team three-person continuous visualisation relay", both upper- and lower-body workouts and finished off with a massive game of secret surges.
Phew. Makes those tasks seem easy.
Alix is making sweet treats next week. See you there,
Simon
