Can you ketchup?!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.

As it happens, yes I can. I can often catch up to someone walking ahead of me because I like a little bit of a goal mid walk if I'm going slower than usual. I'm quite the fan of speed walking, even if my legs don't like it much afterwards!! This guy was so tall, with legs about the length of my entire body, and he remarked on my speed walking as I went by. I'm having that, AND I was carrying Mr A's shopping!! ;-)
The mission was straight forward, good to see Mr A again and he now has the full works for creating plenty of decent burgers, including ketchup!
Today I really felt the benefit of the black GoodGym jersey. Fresh air, helping Mr A, a bit of time away from a busy working week and time to filter and process all kinds of stuff in my head on my runs and walk. All good.
I tried to strike up a bit of chat with a local council worker as I was leaving Mr A's, about how lovely it was to hear the children laughing in a local school playground. Nothing...but he did then wish me a good day (it's quite possible he just didn't hear or understand what I'd said!), and off home I ran! X
