7 runners ran to deliver leaflets for FoodCycle
After our friendly Area Activator Russell C delivered leaflets to us and said hi, and after we were all very excited to see one half of Chelmsford Goodgym's newest parents Joel (we miss you Rachel), a group of 5 set off for Beeleigh Link in Chelmer Village so we could share leaflets promoting FoodCycle's worthwhile work in Chelmsford.
We started at the top of the winding road, and worked our way down one side, including all of the side roads. Russell D and Andy used their local knowledge to weave through the side roads, whilst Joel and James kept slightly closer to the main road, and I looked out for Lucy, who found us despite my vague instructions, and David.
With a couple of extra runners, the group quickly made their way down the main road and all of the side roads, in time to head back. A strong group of 7 runners set off back to ARU, however 3 took slightly shorter routes home, so just 4 of us ran all the way back to ARU in the dark.
Well done gang, especially for coping with my rusty run leading and lack of photography!
See you all again soon.
Laurie
