Bulbs, trees and festive good deeds
7 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Hounslow.

On the last Wednesday before Christmas 7 cheery goodgymers met at Harvard Hill recreation ground on the outskirts of chiswick to help with planting for the spring.
Grateful for the milder temperature and with just 4 more sleeps until Christmas we arrived at Harvard Hill raring to go, to get as many small saplings and bulbs planted as we could.
Our task was to plant 150 mini trees and a bag full of daffodils, along the perimeter of the recreation ground. Our lovely task owner and her daughter kindly brought along hot chocolate and homemade festive biscuits which fuelled us on with the task. In no time at all we’d planted all of the bulbs and tree saplings.
Great to have Maddie, Eloise and Matt back with us for our last group mission this year, and to celebrate Eloise’s 150th deed with a delicious selection of biscuits and mince pies after the task.
To many, many more good deeds in 2023 GGH signing off for 22
