19 GoodGymers Run 4.5k to Haggerston Park to plan 3500 bulbs in 40 minutes of floodlite action!
Great to have so many Goodgym first timers along this evening!! Hope you all enjoyed your first Red Thunder Ride!!
With the news of the GoodGym members Christmas party (1st of December) and the fancy dress theme as well as a possible triple bill of Community Missions and parkrunning on the 24th of November (plus lunch!!).
We headed off to Not Haggerston park as an unplanned long route to the task as I got confused which was Haggerston park (even though I have been going there for over 30 years 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️).
At least it gave us a longer 3k run to the task where we met Vince, tooled up and got planting!!
Splitting into groups we attacked 3 grassed areas with Rugby and tennis training sessions going on around us!
A wide varieties of techniques to get the bulbs into the ground were on show into some quite hard ground!
40 minutes of action and our combined efforts had been super productive and 3500 Daffodils and crocus bulbs had been expertly planted to bring some spring time colour to Haggerston Park!
A shorter but faster run back to base finished off an enjoyable evening!!
Next week GG super trainer ** Paul Bown** will be leading the charge to St Luke’s to promote their Halloween inspired Light show!
See you the week after!
Smooth running
