Building our core values at Vauxhall Food Bank.

Last night was the best September 9th I have ever had (I've had 33). Here's why;

1) It was sunny but not too hot 2 )Beth rocked up in her black T-shirt for doing 50 good deeds. We should all now call her 'The Don' 3) There were a load of new faces. I love new faces. These faces were especially lovely. 4) Loads of people were wearing red T-shirts so we looked like a well fit crew. People on the streets looked on in awe. 5) We had a great run to Vauxhall Food Bank, relatively low people traffic, lots of good chat, nobody fell over. 6) Faith was there to meet a wonderful smile on her face. Faith always has a wonderful smile. 7) We sorted 455kg of food ready for people who need it to collect at the weekend. We made a difference. 8) Everyone did some cracking core work and even better swearing. I now have some new expletives to add to my vocab 9) We ran home in the twilight and it made me excited that Christmas was coming. CHRISTMAS IS COMING. 10) Two people signed up to be part of our befriending scheme

I doubt I'll have a 9th of September as lovely as last night. Lambeth, you are terrific.
