Bready, steady, go! ๐
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Friday, 25th of February 2022
After a little email chat with HQ, I signed up to help Mrs M with her shopping on Friday afternoon. When I arrived to collect her list, there were a couple of extra requests - she needed her prescription picking up from Boots, and also fancied adding garlic bread to her list. It wasnโt long before I was on my way. Everyone seemed to be in a rush through St Pancras station (typical of a Friday afternoon I suppose) but I was carried by the flow towards Boots. A couple of minutes later I had Mrs Mโs prescription, and was Tesco-bound. Thankfully I remembered the garlic bread just before checking out! Sainsburyโs helped me pick up the last few items on the list, then I was back with Mrs M in what felt like no time at all. She tells me that her knee & foot surgeries have finally been scheduled over the next couple of months, so fingers crossed she will be more mobile again soon. ๐ค๐ป
