Bouncing the Day Away!
5 GoodGymers made their way to help the Bounce to Beat Cancer in York.

Yesterday five GG York runners had the pleasure of supporting the 'Bounce to Beat Cancer' fundraising day. The event was the latest event organised by Sean Coxhead as he continues his amazing fundraising drive for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Tasks included manning stalls such as the tombola, the lollipop game, the sock game and glitter tattoos. Raffle tickets were also keenly sought after, especially by Emily who was desperate to win the 'oven cleaner.' (Apparently this was an actual person and not a product... don't think the over cleaner was for life, just for Christmas!) Debs definitely qualifies for an extra good deed by giving away her 'Pink Fluffy Flamingo' to an unlucky tombola contestant. Mitch took it all in his stride by sampling the delights that the nearby cafe offered him!
The excitement of the trampolining action was proving too much for Paul and his stopwatch. A total timing failing almost threatened to halt proceedings but a spare stopwatch was found and the show went on. There was a possible world record as one participant performed 90 Tuck Jumps in a minute, beating the current record by 3. Official verification will now take place before being confirmed (hopefully!) as a world record!
All in all the day was a great success and a great time was had by all! Great work Sean!!
