Boogie sofaland
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Westminster.

There was definitely something very retro and cool about Mr M's place. Couldn't quite decide the decade (50s/60s/70s), but there were a lot of funky glass walls. It was all very exciting (or maybe I just haven't been inside anyone else's home in many months!?)
Anyway, Matt and I met Mr M's carer E at the flat. Our first task was to move a futon sofa. All the cushions were attached to the base in a long fold-out fashion, so Matt had the great idea of moving it folded out 'snake-style' down the groovy-windowed corridor into the other room.
Once that was done, we moved a bed and mattress into the space created. E was very motivational and cheered us on all the way. Just what I need when I haven't run or lifted anything in ages!
Now Mr M's bedroom has space for a hospital bed or other furniture he needs.
Thanks Matt for joining me all the way from Hammersmith and Fulham! Great to meet you.
