Blind Date
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Newham.
- Thursday, 31st of December 2020
Last mission of 2020 meant a lunchtime appointment in East Ham to lend a hand to Mrs M and her daughter S. S has been making various home improvements for her mum, and wanted to get a blind installed in the kitchen to provide a bit more privacy and safety. With a selection of blind-related fixtures and a range of previously drilled holes, it was mainly a question of finding the combination that resulted in the blind staying securely in place and rolling up and down as expected. Mrs M was delighted to have the blind installed and it was probably her enthusiastic expressions of thanks that distracted me when attempting to take a photo of the blind finally in place, so you’ll have to take my word for it…

Great mission Hilary. I'm sure the blind looked great once it was up!
