Birds of a feather
6 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Hackney.

A fine flock of runners turned up at Wilton Estate including a rather beautiful wild Parakeet which nibbled on the hanging snacks in the community garden whilst keeping an eye on all of us.
Debbie from Wilton Estate set us to work weeding the basketball court and wheelbarrowing woodchip for resident Holly to cover her rose & gladioli garden.
It was a beautiful evening. Bees were dining on the lavender, tomato plants stretching out and the strawberries preparing to go out. Now the nimble fingered team have done their work, the council shan’t need to pour weed killer on the basketball court anymore and Holly’s roses shall be protected from weeds for another season. Just don’t mention the slugs.
