Bike to Bike...

I pedalled up to Ms R's this morning not quite sure what to expect in terms of the size of the exercise bike she needed assembling and correspondingly how challenging the task. I'd dismissed (perhaps unfairly) the likelihood of it being some huge Peloton plus screen like machine, but then couldn't quite picture a miniature exercise bike either - somewhere in between then it would have to be...

Ms R showed me the box (smaller than I'd expected) and kindly left me in the kitchen in the company of Holly and Phil on her TV...and with that I got to work. Fortunately all the parts were there, tools included and once I'd worked out how to connect the resistance control wires together, the rest came together with no trouble. By this time I'd also subconsciously digested a lot of Holly, Phil and their various random guests too - so an entertaining and occasionally educational morning all round.

The irony of building an exercise bike that goes nowhere on a GoodGym mission was not lost on me, but I didn't bring this up with Ms R, who seemed keen to get onto the saddle and turn the pedals for a bit of exercise - and with that I got back on my real bike and pedalled home.
