Big and little screw ups!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.
- Saturday, 11th of August 2018
Mr J required some IKEA flat pack draw units to be built, as typical with this task the instructions were fairly limited graphics which required slightly more attention than one would expect. We had to units to build within a 3 hour slot....... I anticipated 2 hours and we got stuck in enthusiastically.
We tried to work together assembling the main body but found it more efficient to split the task, James on the unit and me on the draws. When we came together we realised James had got the sliders in the wrong way so it was built upside down....... whilst I was laughing I then discovered I had also made a mistake on my draws and put wood where screws were meant to go.
It took us just under 2 hours to build the first unit. Luckily we had learned from all our screw ups and were able to do the second one considerably faster. Gave the vegetable patch a quick water then said our goodbyes
