Better be Savers than sorry
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.
- Sunday, 17th of May 2020
Mr J was in need of some cleaning products and toiletries, which are still not the easiest items to get one's hands on, what with government and charity parcels often mainly consisting of food and drink (which is fair enough). I made a beeline for the queues in both the Acton and Ealing Savers branches.. hold on. There are no queues at either! I sauntered into the Acton branch first, where I managed to tick off everything but toilet wipes. When arriving at the Ealing branch I thanked my lucky stars I had tried Acton first, as this shop wasn't quite as well-stocked. So sans wipes de toilette I made my way to Mr J, who was happy to have some essentials to work with besides food.
