Mission

Bedknobs and drill bits

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Sophie and Mhairi headed to East Dulwich on a sunny evening to help out Mr B, who has recently returned from hospital and needed his bed moving into the living room for easier access. Assisted by Mr B's upstairs neighbour we unscrewed the bedframe and manoeuvred it through to the front room. Mhairi wielded some ninja drill skills and reassembled the frame, and Sophie used some Scout knot skills to reattach the handrail. We put the mattress, duvet and pillow back and left Mr B to enjoy a peaceful evening.
