Bedding Down
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Saturday, 22nd of May 2021
Andrew and Emily ran and cycled respectively and met outside Mr F's House, agreeing it was a lovely location right by the canal! We met Mr F inside and he was able to confirm what we needed to move. First we took the old mattress off the bed. The mattress was huge, even bigger than the bed frame, so it was quite a challenge to get it down the stairs. Thankfully though it was quite bendy so we got it past the corners. After a slight detour to outside the front of the house, Mr F re-directed us to the back garden where we left the mattress ready for the council to collect. The second part of the task was to get a different mattress down from the top floor to go on the bed which was much easier as it was only a double. Mr F was really grateful and we left feeling it was a job well done!
