A quick little mission that meant that Mr D could get a hospital bed set up ready for discharge from hospital. Manu & I made our way over and quickly masked and gloved up ready to go! Mr D’s wife showed us what needed moving and it all seemed so easy at first. We got the mattress and bed out into the hallway and then it was time for the wardrobe. After quickly realising it was too wide to get through the door one way we got it flipped and out into the hallway. Feeling smug we went to lift it back up and met the ceiling. Hhhhmmm. We turned it this way and that way; backed into and out of doorways; up and down; forwards and back - furniture Tetris! It eventually dawned on us that the bed was going to have to wait outside to give us more room to manoeuvre and hey presto! Avoiding knocking mirrors and photos and light shades off we got it the right way up again! Bed back in and job was done! Mrs D was very grateful and could let Mr D know all was ready for him to come back home!
