he, him, me duck
My Dad died at the beginning of the year, it would have been his 93rd birthday today. He loved the volunteering that I did through GoodGym. I had planned a Social Visit for today but sadly that was cancelled. So I donned my waders and revisited an activity that had been done as a group before the pandemic - litter picking and Himalayan balsam removal along the River Quaggy. The Himalayan balsam is an invasive weed that wrecks river banks - two large clumps were found and cleared and half a black bag of rubbish removed in the half mile or so of meandering urban river.
