Be Kind, Rewind
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.
- Thursday, 13th of August 2020
Mr A is keeping on top of the clutter in his home, and regular GG visits to pick up bags to donate to the charity shop have helped him out a lot. He really appreciates the help in ferrying bags of unwanted books and videos to where they will hopefully find new owners. Today's cargo was exclusively VHS, which I'm aware some of the younger GoodGymmers who might read this are unaware of: it's like a Super8, but with two reels and you put it into a cassette deck reader, just like a big Walkman. Today I was a little strategic and brought my workhorse bicycle, with racks, bungees and panniers which did the job just fine.
