Basket Ace
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Thursday, 11th of June 2020
Today I did some grocery shopping for Ms M, picking up some important weekly supplies as she is unable to do this herself at the present time.
And what can I say, it was a perfect run. I managed to find every single thing on her list. Including the very last jar of Sharwoods Mango Chutney. Get in! (my basket).
Even on the days when it all goes right, however, it pays to examine one's performance. Zero in on the moments of hesitation or self-doubt. There is something to learn even from the best result.
And if I'm honest with myself, in what was a strong effort today my weakest moment by far was trying to locate the Sainsbury's Custard. I went down many, many aisles. At one point I had to Google it to see what the packaging looked like. It wasn't my finest hour.
But I got there in the end. I found the custard. I completed the task. Success was sweet.
