Bark-lek Intervals
4 GoodGymers made their way 5km to help their local community in Islington.

This Monday, Kim, Holly and Adam joined Area Activator Simon for an impromptu interval session at Emirates Stadium.
Our original task was cancelled for the evening, due to the rainfall making the soil too heavy too shift as a group. We will return to Highbury Quadrant Estate on Monday 5th December.
So we ran a special interval session around the Emirates Stadium instead, with Rufous the border terrier in tow! We started with a warm-up exercise called "drafting". Each participant of our group runs around a looped circuit, and then will take it in turns to run to the front of the pack (a lot like the Madison event in track cycling).
From here, we started an 8 minute fartlek interval session, using the statues of Danny Fiszmann, Tony Adams and Dennis Bergkamp as locations to indicate changes in pace. Our crew did a smashing job, working together!
A trip to the Highbury Library was in order after unique training session. We sill be back next week!
