Mission

Bamboo and brambles

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

We arrived at 10:30am and were welcomed by Ms. K and her son, who showed us to the back garden. We pruned back several bushes and bamboo, weeded, and cleaned up the pathway to the back door. After some juice kindly offered by Ms. K, we went round to the front garden and did more of the same. After a couple hours of battling brambles and ivy, we bagged everything up and set it out for waste pickup, heading home at 12:30.
