Bake it till you make it
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Islington.

Today I helped my local community by volunteering at the Newington Green Food Hub. This community project by Newington Green Action Group sprung up at the Mildmay Club when the coronavirus outbreak hit and has been supporting local families with food deliveries each Tuesday and Friday.
I helped out in two ways today. First I baked two batches of cinnamon buns for volunteers to deliver later in the day to staff in our local care homes. There is a group of local bakers who do this regularly.
Then I helped out with the day's food package deliveries. In total I think I delivered packages to seven different households, all over our local area. An excellent upper body workout. And a new way to engage with my neighbourhood which I appreciated.
