Two GoodGymers started the weekend with a Friday evening task at The Greenhouse. Musa made his way up the Hill-That-Kills to get to Stopsley while Gill decided to rely on 4 wheels and an engine to get there. We were met by Cathy from the Courtney Foundation. Gill and Cathy were delighted to get reacquainted having done lots of volunteering together during lockdown for Baby Bank and All Saints Clothing Bank. Cathy’s current project is a pre-loved clothing bank for children. She’d been inundated with bags and bags of donated clothes recently and wanted our help to sort it out . We gradually worked our way through the bags, sorting the clothes into different sizes, ensuring only items of a reasonable quality were kept. We got through all the bags in record time, then loaded up Cathy’s car before heading for home.
