Bags and bags of energy to help packing!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Saturday, 1st of August 2020
Steve and I arrived on sunny Saturday morning already quite sweaty from the jog to the task. Ms J was waiting outside for us so we introduced ourselves and quickly headed up to start with the packing.
Ms J had plenty of bags for us to use and helped advising us what was to be packed and where. We tackled all the rooms and managed to get a lot done, ready for the movers in a few weeks time.
We also discovered that Steve and Ms J had both previously lived in America and heard about the fun of living in L.A.!
Ms J was very thankful to have had our help as she's understandably nervous about moving. Having just done it myself I could very much relate!
Steve and I managed to get everything done in time and even cleared a bit more space by throwing a few bits that were due for the rubbish in the bins downstairs. After a quick selfie we were both off to enjoy the rest of the sunny day.
