Assemble your army-chairs!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.
- Saturday, 15th of June 2019
I met Rupesh as he was gazing over the building's balcony into the horizon. As we waited for Ms A to come to the door, he let me know that he'd already weeded someone's whole front garden in a mission this morning (whilst I had just eaten crisps).
Ms A was very welcoming and gently advised us to remove a wheel-less wheelie chair to downstairs for the Council to collect, and make room to assemble her brand new reclining arm chair.
Back in the flat, after taking a bit too much time understanding the very simple instruction leaflet, we set to constructing the arm chair. It was a tool-less affair and got it done quickly while Ms A helped out around us.
Arm chair assembled, we helped Ms A give it a test run and then moved it into it's new location.
Hopefully Ms A's sore back will enjoy the new level of comfort when she's in her living room.
(Thanks to Rupesh for the report title assistance)
