23 Happy Tower Hamlets GoodGymers ran 6.5k to deliver leaflets for Aldgate Community Events to promote a community photography exhibition.
Meeting at the Town Hall hotel ready for some running fun, with Alex away it was my pleasure to lead the TH crew around town.
On request of a random route we followed a back streets tour of inner City London weaving our way 3k to meet Laura from Aldgate Community Events project. Unfortunately are there was a little rain in the air we couldn't get painting so we split up into 4 groups and scattered to various nearby tower blocks and cafes to deliver 400 leaflets and newsletters about the project and the community photography exhibition!
Dashing up and down and all around the various blocks we delivered and handed out 400 leaflets in a quick fire 30 minutes! To make the most of the times we smashed out a little leg blast circuit finishing off with a new game called (making this up as I type) Jack in the Box static Squats all the way to 75!! Before Chris lead the group back a very scenic route throwing in a masterful Loop de Loop action!!
A stretch out and round of applause rounded off the evening! Thank you all for looking after me tonight, hope to see you all again very soon!
Smooth Running
