Forgive the title, I’m terrible at puns…
I joined Mark and a few friends of Betts Park volunteers at Betts park this morning for a bit of looping and chopping, and and as it turned out, a lot of weeding!
I personally hadn’t done a task or mission at Betts park before which I particularly enjoyed because it’s my favourite park.
We cleared the path next to the canal and collected several wheelbarrows of overgrown foliage. I made the weeding of a set of stairs my mission!
After cutting back some foliage, Eve found some very sweet ceramics left here by a local artist. Which we agreed were great!
The sun came out and so did the sweat. We finished up and it was a great active way to start the weekend.
