Apple Do Nicely
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Luton Borough Council Parks and Countryside in Luton.

Duncan and David met Konni at the Cowslip Meadow Apple tree to give it a bit of much needed attention.
This tree was originally an ornamental crab apple, but the roots had sent up several additional stems that produce an edible variety of apple as well. With so many stems competing for space it was all a bit tangled and congested. Thinning it out a bit and ensuring each branch has its own space should improve the trees health and boost the amount of fruit we can harvest.
