Tonight two GG runners, Julie and Anne, were supposed to meet up at the Woking Sports Centre. Their mission was to search for the streets most littered for our plogging next week.
Holly had changed the initial plan this morning as she was not feeling well enough to lead tonight’s run. Anne believes that Julie had not had the opportunity to read about the change of venue, so both runners were waiting at different parks…
Well done Julie for carrying on with gathering rubbish and help to keep Woking as beautiful as it deserves. Anne, in the meantime, looked for the best road for our mission next week. However, at night and with the pavements and borders covered with dead leaves…. Woking looked rather clean!
On Sunday you could join James, Wayne and Anne to welcome Marina to her first mission: volunteering at Woking junior parkrun. Remember: the more, the merrier!
Happy running to you all.
