Another day, another dog πΆ
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Friday, 5th of June 2020
Another day, another quick shopping Mission in Hampstead, and another dog breed to recapitulate some trivia about. This time, Bassett Hounds.
Their provenance as a breed is rather less exotic than the pug or the shih tzu, but they do appear in popular culture somewhat often. Columbo has one as a pet, as does Sheriff Roscoe in The Dukes of Hazzard. Droopy is one of course, and in Disneyβs The Great Mouse Detective there is one belonging to Sherlock Holmes.
(also saw a Mclaren 570S π and an impressive display of cherry tomatoes π )

Well done Danny! *Googles recapitulate. It's the same as recap? Mind blown*
Ha thanks CJ π Here's another one I saw in case you don't know it: 'achondroplasia.' Applies to a few breeds, these, Dachshunds, corgis, pugs (as well as humans) and means 'dwarfism'
