And we're roll(er)ing, roll(er)ing, roll(er)ing in the corridor
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Saturday, 7th of July 2018
We arrived just before 10:30 and Mr. K buzzed us into his building.
The elevators confused us (we're physicists, not engineers!), and so it took us a little extra time to walk down the stairs after overshooting Mr. K's actual flat by several floors :D
Once there, Mr. K gave us some paint, a roller and some brushes and we cracked on with painting the corridor. Altogether, we painted the walls, the ceiling, the doorframes and a couple of doors in the corridor. There was a lot of roller-ing.
Mr. K was great: He offered us some tea/coffee and chatted to us throughout the task. In exchange, we showed him a burpee and some yoga poses. I don't know how useful he found those, but I hope he finds his flat a little brighter after having a fresh coat of paint.
We finished around 12:30 and tried to avoid wanting pancakes as we took the obligatory mission selfie.
