All measured up.
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.

I arrived at Mrs R's flat expecting to do some furniture/box shifting, but it transpired that what Mrs R really needed help with was measuring up a part broken bed frame that she wanted to get fixed (by a nice man in Norwich apparently). So between us we managed to lift off the mattress and then with tape measure in hand, recorded the dimensions of the sprung frame and took photos of it for Mrs R to then send to aforesaid nice man who hopefully will be able to sort out the repair. As Mrs R told me, her husband had owned the bed for over 40 years, so they didn't want to get rid of it if it was in any way repairable.
With that done, Mrs R asked if I could measure up the two wardrobes and also the dresser in the same room as she'd like to replace these with more modern items - easily done - and ignoring the fact we were in the 21st century we recorded all the dimensions in feet and inches in Mrs R's notepad. Finally she produced her kitchen clock and asked if I could reinsert the screw into the wall and rehang it...all done before the big hand reached 6.
