All Chopped Out.
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Friday, 8th of May 2020
Waitrose at Brunswick Sq has become my favourite go to place for Friday mornings - I'll miss everything about it when the lockdown is finally over.
I silently thanked Ms J when I opened her envelope (it can be a bit like discovering your exam results...) and discovered her list was straightforward. Like many other discerning Waitrose shoppers I've met over these past few weeks, she was able to describe to me exactly where I'd be able find each of her items - I've definitely learned a whole new side to efficient shopping.
No problems finding everything on her list, took advantage of a special 3 for £7 promotion on the pies and got to the checkout to find no queue. A short walk back to Ms J's and then a socially distanced doorstep delivery - we had a quick chat about how unusual life is at the moment, she thanked me for finding everything on the list (and the extra pie), wished each other a good weekend and it was then back into the VE Day sunshine and homeward bound.
