Aching from my head to-ma-toes
1 GoodGymer made their way to help the The Felix Project in Tower Hamlets.

Yesterday I headed to the Felix Project Warehouse in Poplar for the first time, but it certainly won't be my last! After changing into some heavy duty boots, a high vis and a quick tour of the warehouse, the team put me straight to work.
My role was picking and packing orders from surplus food that had arrived from their suppliers (food that otherwise would have been thrown away) ready to be delivered to various charities and projects.
In total, I packed 680kg worth of food, for 3 primary schools to receive on Monday morning - from potatoes, bananas and tomatoes galore, to roti's, tinned jackfruit and even kitkat muffins! Safe to say the ache today is definitely worth it.
I'll be back for sure and would recommend this mission to anyone looking to get stuck into something on a Saturday morning :-)
