Abra-Camden-ra, make the prescription disappear! (Don't worry, it all worked out in the end)
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Monday, 20th of April 2020
On my second run to this particular pharmacy since lockdown began, thing didn't go as smoothly as before. I gave Mr A's details to the pharmacist who had a good search... then looked some more... then phoned a colleague, as it appeared there was nothing to collect. I called Mr A while this was going on and was told he was expecting someone else to pick the medicine up for him, plus that he still had enough of his last batch to tide him over. The pharmacist then called him to clarify the situation, both with his current supplies and the 'missing' prescription. The professional was satisfied that Mr A has what he needs for now, but even though no prescription delivery took place, Mr A still got the benefit of two different people calling him for a friendly chat, hopefully making him feel that there are people thinking of him during lockdown! (To anyone casually reading this, I have of course mentioned this to GoodGym HQ, so that we can clarify if Mr A still needs our help with a potentially-still-to-reach-Boots prescription).
