Abba-solutely fabulous
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Westminster.
- Saturday, 7th of October 2017
David and I met for the third week in a row to see Mrs E again and finally finish the painting for her. We discussed how nice it had been to visit her each week - like visiting an old friend!
David did most of the hard work this week and finished painting the floor. I went on an expedition to get white spirit and then tried my best to help Mrs E connect her CD player to her laptop. Sadly I failed, not being familiar with apple computers, so David had to come to the rescue!
Mrs E was thrilled to be able to play her Abba tunes and we all bonded over a love of their music!
Mrs E was also very pleased with the paint job and the other bits and pieces we had helped with over the last few weeks. A job well done!
