A weeding from some 25 (runners)

25 runners ran 6k and weeded 3 different patches of land
Yesterday we went to clear up weeds in an unused patch of land next to a resident's estate. Along with pulling out some rather toughly wedded shrubs, we also discovered a decomposing rat, which made for some obligatory squeals! Whilst the run there was between 1 to 2 km, we took a longer 5 km route along the canal. I was particularly proud of this run as it was the first time that I had jogged pretty much continuously for 5 km, proving to myself that I can do it. Thanks to Mark and the rest of the gang for motivating me to keep going!

"Elite Break-Away Weeding Group"
This evening's good gymming saw nine of us set off to Hollybush estate in an elite break-away weeding group. Despite getting lost on the 5 minute run there, we eventually managed to get stuck into weeding and turning soil in 20 raised beds. Half an hour of bed swapping later, we were off for a steady 6k run home.
