A Tale of Two (Hundred....) Bags!

Storm Dennis wasn’t going to stop us helping out Mr K after a recent house move. After closing the front door to Dennis’ menaces, Lily and Teresa got to work in the outside shed clearing up lots of shopping bags and folding bags into stronger bags. We then moved indoors and cleared up more bags getting in the way in the shower room. There was a higher class of bags here and who knows what bags there could have been had Mr K not been stopped from entering a door leading into the private rooms of HRH on a past visit to Highgrove! Bags neatly tidied, it was time to move the freezer into the kitchen. According to the tape measure, it would be an easy fit into the intended space but how to get it through three doors? No bother, after a bit of pushing it in and taking it out, it fitted in - four doors later. More tidying of clothes, personal effects and bed making and we were done and left to the sound of the washing machine, a poor whimper compared to Storm Dennis’ howling!
