A surplus of sycamore seedlings
1 GoodGymer made their way to help the Portsmouth Residents and Visitors in Portsmouth.
- Wednesday, 10th of April 2024
- Led by Judy Knapp
This week the Victoria Park gardening volunteers focused on one of the newly-planted shrub beds, weeding and hoeing around the young plants.
There were countless sycamore seedlings sprouting out everywhere, and as we didn't want the Park to turn into a sycamore woodland, they all had to come out, and join the compost heap instead!
(I enjoyed myself so much, I forgot to take a photo, so a snap of my bedraggled tulips will have to do!)
