That's Mrs D in a nutshell. She's always cheerful and happy to chat, every time I visit her. Today I took some flowers from my garden for her, along with a jar to put them in. She was so pleased, she said she's never seen these variety before. I searched the common name for them, apparently they are Black-eyed Susan, I only know them as rudbeckia. She told me that she was going to name her daughter Susan, but her friend got ahead of her and named her daughter Susan. She then took inspiration from the name of a well known actress from that time that she liked very much. I forgot to ask if her daughter likes her name. I'll do that next time I visit Mrs D.
