A Social Visit from My Kitchen
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Friday, 16th of December 2022
If you’ve read the reports of my other social visits with M, you’ll know it’s never been straightforward arranging but always well worth the time and effort.
This week’s contacts with M in numbers - two attempted visits - one earlier in the week called off due to likely ice (she lives at the top of a steep hill that was probably ungritted); today’s didn’t happen either as she was expecting a GP visit which had been rearranged too.
Three chats on the phone with M, one with her daughter in law who was checking in on her when I rang. M was so pleased to have a talk this evening and we pencilled in a possible time for next week’s visit and she absolutely loved the suggestion of having a natter on Christmas Day. It was a call that I think made both of our days.
In lieu of a photo of our kitchen which isn’t that photogenic, a couple of a Blackheath sunrise earlier in the week ….including Marathon Oak.
