A shovel in the hand is worth two in the shed
9 GoodGymers made their way to help the Heeley Development Trust in Sheffield.
- Monday, 12th of October 2020
- Led by Ash
Falling back on the old faithful wood chip task a team of 8 Goodgymers were briefed by Rocking Rob and Brilliant Bev from the Heeley Trust on what and where we were to chip and the risks and safe system of work being put in place.
A team of three made up of Mike, Kat and first timer Martin took on the shoveling task, with the rest of us lifting, shifting and spreading.
Part way through we were also joined by another new comer to GG Sheff, Seiko, as we cleared the majority of woodchip from the pile and got it spread over recently weeded beds.
