A scythe of relief for the meadow
9 GoodGymers made their way to help the Northern Slopes Initiative in Bristol.
- Saturday, 5th of February 2022

The lighter mornings and warmer air are definitely not going unappreciated, as the weather was perfect for our routine bramble demolition and clean up on the Northern Slopes.
We've been coming to the slopes for over a year now on a monthly basis, and our progress in turning the former bramble stockade into a wild meadow with a view is very clear. We drew cheers and appreciation from passers by, and even snagged one runner into helping us out! (who was very cool about being bombarded with goodgym.org prompts).
The team set about usual tasks or snipping creeping branches, clearing up pathways, litter picking, and a good old scythe at the brambles.
Great work everyone, thanks for coming and see you in March!
