A Room With A View
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Liverpool.
- Saturday, 6th of July 2019
On a rather soggy morning in Liverpool, we made our way to Mr T's to help rearrange some appliances and furniture.
Mr T is a wheelchair user and has been unable to get into the kitchen in his home since last October, due to the positioning of the fridge. We got straight to work rearranging the kitchen in order to relocate the fridge. It was a tight squeeze but Mr T was determined and, with the help of his carer, managed to manoeuvre into the kitchen for the first time in 9 months.
He then asked us to move some furniture in the living room so that he would be able to access a back door and have a clear view of their lovely garden.
Mr T was very pleased with our efforts and we’re hoping some GoodGymers might be able to help him out with the garden at a later date.
