Yesterday evening was an evening full of treats, including an group run task at one of our favourites, medal Monday celebrations and pizza!
We all gathered in our usual spot outside Glass Mill for a quick warm up and post-race discussion including identical Vitality 10000 finish times. Well done to everyone who took part in Vitality 10000, you all did fantastic. Our next big race is the Big Half and as soon as I recieve further information of how to enter as a community place I'll circulate to the group. It would be fantastic to get as many of us as possible signed up to take on the challenge.
We had a run up hill to get to Luxmore Gardens, one last test for those who had tired legs. We were continuing last weeks work of weeding the flower beds and also cutting back the overhanging plants and trees. It's an important task and reduces antisocial behaviour in the space.
Time flies when you're having fun and it was soon time to return tools and move all the cuttings and weeds to the compost pile. We'll be heading back to Luxmore Gardens at the beginning of June.
We detoured on the run back to Glass Mill to head straight to Mamma Dough, the call of pizza was too strong!
