A polished patio mission accomplished, but guess what we forgot?
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Saturday, 25th of January 2020
Sam and I arrived at Mr M's flat on Saturday morning. Our mission brief: to tidy up his back garden so he could enjoy it again. Mr M gave us a warm welcome and showed us to the patio garden. He had all the tools ready for us; clearly this was a green-fingered guy who, due to some health issues, just needed an extra pair of hands to maintain his outdoor space. Excited to use one of those scrubby-paving-weeding-tool things, we set to work. After about 45 minutes of weeding, scrubbing, sweeping and chatting, the patio was looking clearer and easier for Mr M to move around. Mr M was really pleased, and we were satisfied too with a mission accomplished, but guess what we had forgotten? To take the before photo, of course. You'll just have to appreciate this photo of a box of weeds instead. CJ out.
