Who/Where/Why
One downside of the recent lovely weather, leading to increased use of Mountsfield park, is the increase in litter that gets discarded all around. With maintenance staff already doing a great job tending to the much-used green spaces, I decided to lend a hand one balmy evening and get the place looking a little tidier ahead of a doubtless busy weekend's use ahead :o)
It only took one (rather slow!) ParkRun lap to completely fill one large refuse sack so I'll be sure to take a few with me next time. Nevertheless, it was a successful first outing for my newly purchased picking gear!
