14 ran to clear leaves at the Army and Navy
A very cold evening was not enough to put off a hardy bunch of runners. We decided to check out the Christmas lights which were turned on Sunday evening. We ran through the high street and paused for a photo, before headding on our way to the Army and Navy.
This spot has an underpass which often floods in heavy rain so we set about clearing the drains of leaves to help prevent any issues. We split into two teams and raced to clear each side of the subway. We then took the leaves and put them in the skip by the mill.
a run back through town and into the park where we completed 6 sets of parlauf's or two person relays to keep us warm and burn off some energy! After a great session we returned to base and went our separate ways.
Don't forget we are helping set up for the Santa run sign up here or helping pack up too if you wish to join us at 1pm instead of 6.45am.
