A Little Help for the Lovely Ms C
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Tuesday, 30th of March 2021
Yesterday evening was beautiful. Certainly Spring, and maybe even a touch more. Taking a steady trundle over to Sydenham and the lovely Ms C's, it almost felt like a glimpse of Summer. A treat and a privilege to be able to be out and active.
And I got the added treat of seeing Ms C too. The first time I visited Ms C, it was late Summer last year. The second and third times were Autumn and Winter. And now with Spring sorted, I feel like I should wrap up my run reports and send them over to Ali Smith. Confident she'd appreciate.
Topping and tailing a little jaunt over to Aldi and Sainsbury's, Ms C and I shot the breeze and discussed the most important of things - what was better? Creme eggs or mini eggs? We settled on mini eggs and I hope Ms C enjoys a few of these over the coming days.
I was planning on jogging back to Greenwich, but it seemed like I'd miss the crepuscular light and the coming sunset. So I walked. Speaking to the Dad as I wandered through the hidden delights of the River Pool Linear Park and up through Catford and Lewisham to home.
Nice one.
